Emerson is part of our reserve range and only produced in the years we consider the fruit to be exceptional. Emerson is made using the traditional sparkling wine method – whole-bunch cold pressed then bottle fermented for four and half years at a minimum on lees and is 100% Pinot Noir. One word sums it up… Amazing.

‘Wonderfully balanced with a lethal alluring complexity, this Lambrook Emerson is an excellent sparkling wine that impressed me deluxe.

Made with 100% Pinot Noir, it sits on lees for four years and the resultant complexity and detail is telling.

Layered and then some, think wafer biscuits, almond meal, cashews, figs, white-fleshed stonefruit and sourdough. A fine peach skin like texture is brushed atop the palate with casual flecks of ginger drawing out long. It's fresh, bone dry and possesses a terrific length and width. I'm not gonna lie, this is a cracking wine and one that is sure to impress. Drink to five years+’

’Adelaide Hills pinot noir declares its depth and presence in red apple and subtle strawberry fruit, layered with the toasty, roast-nut complexity of four years of lees age. A noble effort for a first release, upholding the focus and restraint of cool-climate acidity, carrying the finish long and restrained, well matched to a low dosage. A little phenolic grip on the end is characteristic of the Adelaide Hills. 12%’
